SONGWRITING

Willie Williams wrote his first song at the age of 13 and has been at it ever since.  Raised on 70s and 80s radio hits, Willie's songwriting influences are a diverse mix of country, pop, Americana, blues and hard rock.  From the heartrending tale of watching a parent suffer with Alzheimer's disease ("Mr. Dave"), to a rollicking salute to everybody's favorite roadside cuisine ("Gas Station Chicken"), Willie's writing runs the gamut of human emotions.  In 2013, he collaborated with Nashville songsmiths Brian Bunn and Josh Reedy on a feel-good summertime anthem ("Float") and in 2018, Willie's homage to the Christmas road trip ("Four Christmases"), earned him a publishing deal with Songcastle Music in Hollywood.  Willie is a BMI affiliated writer and would be happy to speak with you about cutting one of his songs.  Click on the links below to listen.
